Minzi Kang
Counsellor
Hi there, I'm Minzi. I've always been curious about how people make sense of themselves. My background spans Psychology, Neuroscience, and Digital Anthropology, exploring how culture, identity and behaviour intersect. My own history, and navigating questions of belonging as a minority, led me to therapy - and ultimately to training at the Minster Centre, where I am currently completing my clinical training and working with clients within the NHS.
I understand what it feels like to have to hide a part of yourself, to pretend that everything is fine. I offer a space where every part of you is welcome. I am particularly interested in how people relate to others, how personal histories shape those patterns, and how identity influence the way we move in the world.
Our early sessions focus on getting to know you and what feels difficult. There is no pressure to have everything figured out, we move at a pace that feels safe. I work weekly and ask that you commit to at least 10 sessions, giving us continuity to explore deeply. I aim to offer a space that is calm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental.
Finding the right therapist takes time, and that is okay. Get in touch, and we can have a conversation to see whether working together feels right. You don't have to navigate things on your own.
