About Annia

Hi, I’m Annia. I am a trainee counsellor currently studying at the University of Salford and a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within their ethical framework. Alongside my training, I work as a primary school teacher, and my experience in education has shaped my understanding of relationships and the lasting impact of early experiences. I bring a trauma and attachment-informed perspective to my work. As a British Indian woman, I am aware of the complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities and how this can shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. I aim to offer a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Area of Focus

Drawing on my background supporting children with emotional and social challenges, I am particularly interested in areas such as trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem and identity. I also welcome clients who simply want space to reflect and understand themselves more deeply.

What to Expect

I offer a calm, respectful and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels important to you. Our sessions will move at your pace, with no pressure or expectations. We will work collaboratively, meaning you decide what to bring, and together we can make sense of your thoughts and experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable.

Let's Connect

If this approach feels helpful, you are welcome to get in touch. I offer all sessions remotely and am happy to answer any questions about the process.
